Are birds and other wildlife damaging your roof? Our High Solids Silicone Roof Coating with Wildlife Deterrent is designed to drive birds and other pests away from your roof to protect your coating and increase the lifespan of your roof system.
This High Solids formulation can be applied with either a roller or silicone spray equipment.
Available in: White (all sizes and formulations), Tan (5-gallon, High-Build only)
High Solids: 5 and 55 gallon (Spray or roll-apply)
High Build: 5 and 50 gallon (Roll-apply only)
Application: Varies depending on the formulation selected.
In most situations, our silicone adheres to the existing substrate without the need of a primer, saving you time and money.
Resistance to UV rays, ponding water, oxidation, wind-driven sand, rain, and snow, and temperature extremes allows our roof coatings to provide long-term protection. Because of our coatings’ high reflectivity, you can expect to save up to $.50 per square foot on your energy bill after installing a silicone roof coating.
Storage and Shelf Life: HS 3200 Series Silicone Roof Coating has a recommended shelf life of 24 months from the date of manufacture when stored in unopened containers between 40°F and 80°F. Refer to product packaging for date of manufacture.
Mix: It is recommended that any silicone product be mixed with a drill mixer for ~5 minutes prior to application.
Application: The application rate and method for our Wildlife Deterrent Coating depends on the substrate you are restoring. Our Silicone Coverage Guide is a great tool to determine how much material you’ll need for the job and at what rate you need to apply it.
Equipment: This product should be roll-applied using a medium nap roller.
Cure Time: Our Wildlife Deterrent Silicone cures in 1-4 hours under normal weather conditions and is tack-free in 1-2 hours. Because conditions vary, it is recommended that you exercise caution prior to walking on recently applied coating.
Weather Restrictions: To ensure optimum performance, it is recommended that you do not apply this product when surface temperatures are below 40 degrees. In cold-weather applications, material should be kept indoors until immediately before application. It is also recommended that you do not apply this material while rain is falling. Rain will not cause silicone to wash off, but the substrate will become wet and will negatively impact adhesion.
