Silicone Walkway System - Granules

SKU: PG-750-2

Foot traffic is one of the primary causes of roof failure. Without a proper walkway system, even minimal foot traffic can damage nearly any roof system. That's why we created the Pro-Grip Walkway System.

PG 750 is the Granule component of our Pro-Grip Walkway system. When paired with PG 700, this system provides an impact-resistant, non-slip surface on your roof.

Available in: Safety Yellow color and 2-gallon pails.

Application: Coating should be roll-applied; granules should be broadcast using a "chicken feed" technique.

Application

Prep: Prior to starting your roofing project, prep the roof by power-washing, removing dirt and debris, and making any necessary repairs. Ensure roof is completely dry prior to applying silicone. For more detailed preparation instructions, view our Technical Resources page.

Application: Immediately after the application of PG 700 Walkway Coating, evenly broadcast the Pro-Grip PG 750 Non-Slip Walkway Granules into the wet coating. The recommended application rate is as follows:
  • Walkway Areas – 25 mils (1.65gal/sq.) of Walkway Coating with 40 lbs./sq. of Walkway Granules.
  • Impact Resistant Areas – 40 mils (2.65 gal/sq.) of Walkway Coating with 60 lbs/sq. of Walkway Granules.

IMPORTANT:
The Walkway Granules will settle into the Walkway Coating. Apply the granules generously and,
within a few minutes, inspect the surface and re-apply as needed to obtain a continuous film of granules.
