Foot traffic is one of the primary causes of roof failure. Without a proper walkway system, even minimal foot traffic can damage nearly any roof system. That's why we created the Pro-Grip Walkway System.
PG 700 is the Silicone Coating component of our Pro-Grip Walkway system. When paired with PG 750, this system provides an impact-resistant, non-slip surface on your roof.
Available in: Safety Yellow color and 5-gallon pails.
Application: Roll-applying is recommended.

Note: While you can purchase only the Silicone Coating component of our Pro-Grip Walkway system, we do not recommend installing a walkway without including PG 750 - Walkway Granules.
Pro-Grip Walkway Coating is a bright safety yellow color to clearly mark the safest and intended flow of foot traffic. Pro-Grip can also be used as a warning system around roof edges, hatches, hazardous equipment, and hazardous areas. It can also be installed around HVAC units and other areas with high foot traffic for added protection.
Storage and Shelf Life: Pro-Grip Walkway Coating has a recommended shelf life of 12 months from the date of manufacture when stored in unopened containers between 40°F and 80°F. Refer to product packaging for date of manufacture.
Mix: It is recommended that any silicone product be mixed with a drill mixer for ~5 minutes prior to application.
Application: This product is designed to be applied over top of a finished silicone roof coating restoration. Recommended application rates are as follows:
- Walkway Areas – 25 mils (1.65gal/sq.) of Walkway Coating with 40 lbs./sq. of Walkway Granules.
- Impact Resistant Areas – 40 mils (2.65 gal/sq.) of Walkway Coating with 60 lbs/sq. of Walkway Granules.
IMPORTANT: The Walkway Granules will settle into the Walkway Coating. Apply the granules generously and, within a few minutes, inspect the surface and re-apply as needed to obtain a continuous film of granules.
Equipment: This product is designed to be roll-applied using a medium nap roller.
Cure Time: Our Pro-Grip Walkway Coating cures in 1-4 hours under normal weather conditions and is tack-free in 1-2 hours. Because conditions vary, it is recommended that you exercise caution prior to walking on recently applied coating.
Weather Restrictions: To ensure optimum performance, it is recommended that you do not apply this product when surface temperatures are below 40 degrees. In cold-weather applications, material should be kept indoors until immediately before application. It is also recommended that you do not apply this material while rain is falling. Rain will not cause silicone to wash off, but the substrate will become wet and will negatively impact adhesion.
