P-140 is a two-part, water-based primer created to strengthen the adhesion of PM silicone over multiple substrates. It is safe and easy to use, easy to clean up, and has little to no odor. Although P-140 was specifically designed for use over concrete roof surfaces, it can also be used on metal, wood, most single-ply membranes, and existing coatings.

MIXING: Start by mixing each component individually. Next, combine Part A and Part B and mix thoroughly. Avoid over mixing. This can cause product thickening. Once mixed, the usable pot life is 2 hours at 75°F (24°C). You can extend the pot life up to 3 hours by adding small amounts of water to mixture. Add just enough water to achieve the original consistency. Discard material that has been mixed for over 4 hours. Mixing ratio is 1:1. APPLICATION: P-140 may be applied by brush, roller, or spray. You may use any airless spray equipment capable of 2,000 psi (13,789 kPa) and 1 gallon per minute (3.8 L/minute) delivery. Recommended spray tip is a reversible, self-cleaning tip. Orifice size - .015” to .021” (.4 mm to .5 mm). Minimum 40-degree fan angle.
