AC 1200 is a high-quality water-based acrylic coating available in white or as tinted, which cures to form a seamless membrane when applied over the entire roof area. In addition to keeping the surface cool, AC 1200 extends the life cycle of new and existing roof systems, providing protection from ultraviolet sun and other weather exposures. The system is suitable for use on various conventional smooth and granulated BUR and polymer modified roof membranes with smooth mineral surfacing, most metal roof systems, single ply membranes (primers or special precautions may be required), concrete, cementitious stucco, EIFS, other masonry substrates, exterior-grade plywood, rigid coverboards such as Dens-Deck® and Securock® and SPUF. A substrate adhesion test is recommended prior to product application. White, Reflective Tan, Light Gray, Dark Gray, Santa Fe Tan. This product is available in 5-gallon buckets and 50-gallon drums.

Storage and Shelf Life: AC 1200 Series has a recommended shelf life of 12 months from date of manufacture when stored in unopened containers and between 40°f and 100°f to prevent the product from freezing. Refer to product packaging.
Application
Care should be taken to ensure roof has positive drainage. AC-1200 is not intended for use in areas where standing/ponding water occurs. Yield (1 gal to 100 sq ft): 8.5 dry mils. Dry Time is (70°F) 90 min @ 50% Humidity Re-coat Window > 6 Hours. Apply the AC-1200 series at the rate of 1.5 gallons per 100 sq. ft. (24 wet mils). Surface texture and wind will affect applied mil thickness.
